Who We Are

Founded in 2013, Grace of God International Charity Ministry is a faith-based nonprofit with a heart for serving others. Our ministry focuses on two important areas: providing shoes to children and families in need and caring for orphaned children through our orphanage project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

History

It was December of 2012 when Beysith Novella received God’s calling while watching a Christian movie filmed in Africa. God’s message was clear: to shoe those in need. And so Beysith set out to carry God’s will.

She started out small but asked anyone who’d listen to donate to her whatever pairs of shoes they didn’t use or need. As the donations amassed Beysith realized that she needed a place to send to.

She was in deep prayer asking God for guidance for many nights, until one day when out at a local dry cleaner she received the answer to her prayers: a man who worked there was from Africa, and the two were able to connect.

Thanks to this chance encounter, Beysith was able to contact an African pastor: Reverend Adekunle Muraina.

As the organization and donations grew, Beysith’s vision grew as well: not only to help the people in Africa but all of mankind. From this initiative, “Grace of God International Charity Ministry” was born.

Beysith feels very blessed to have the opportunity to help those who need the most:

“God has truly touched my heart and I want to do everything possible to fulfill the purpose that He has placed in me. Our plan is to continue helping the needy: seeing people smile is more valuable than all the money in the world.” – Beysith Novella.

Why Our Mission Matters

Mission

We are a 501(c) 3 Non-profit organization. Our mission began by collecting new and gently used shoes through private donations and faith-based organizations and distributing them to men, women, and children in disadvantaged communities. Today, that mission continues and has grown to include the development of the Jehovah Nissi Grace of God Orphanage in Tanganyika, Democratic Republic of the Congo, providing vulnerable children with a safe and loving place to live, grow, learn, and dream of a brighter future.

Through faith, compassion, and generosity, we remain committed to meeting essential needs and creating lasting opportunities for those we serve.

Vision

Our vision is a world where every child and every person in need has the opportunity to live a life filled with care, respect, and hope. Through our shoe donation program and the development of the Jehovah Nissi Grace of God Orphanage in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, we are committed to supporting those who need it most, especially vulnerable and orphaned children. As Grace of God continues to grow, our vision is to expand our reach and, in the future, establish additional orphanages where more children can find safety, love, care, and the opportunity to grow and dream. We believe that with love, support, and opportunity, orphans can change the world.
